Guest IRPnet Posted November 19, 2011 Report Posted November 19, 2011 Hi, Ok, I've upgraded from a OSF to a O2X. The OSF has had several flavours of ROM on it and I'm familiar with using CWM and ROMS. My O2X has 2.2.2 on it. I'd like to put a custom ROM on it and root it etc etc. To be able to do this I need to install CWM or some other bootloader/ROM installer. I've tried the NVFlash method, a copy of clockwordmod.img in /data/local folder (both internal and external SD) and the adb push method, but still all I get when I hold down the volume down button and power on is the "Software Updating" screen...which just stays there. Am I missing something? Did I do something wrong? I've read the NVFlash tutorial Any help most appreciated. :(
Guest Rusty! Posted November 19, 2011 Report Posted November 19, 2011 You're doing it wrong. Hold both power + vol down 'til you get the blue tinted LG.

Cheers man....you're absolutely correcto...:D That sums up all I love about Modaco forums...1 person unsure..posts...1 person knows...and we all live happily ever after!
