Using apktool to modify the stock gingerbread launcher. However it wont recompile. All modified objects (mainly icons) have been saved with original name and format. Im probably overlooking somthing thats right in my face but any help would be great.a short step by step maybe so i can see what im doing wrong. Thanks

You don't have to decompile/compile with apktool if you are only changing graphics. You can just use some zip tool to replace images inside e.g. .apk/res/drawable-hdpi/.

Thanks. Using 7zip how could i forget it supports drag and drop lol. My bad. Thanks. Maybe i should take a break. :)
