Well I have tried MX Video player and it only works on a few of my mkvs. But when it works, it works good. Subtitles are good and in time and picture is quality. However this works for about only 1/10 of my mkvs. On most of the small mkvs I use are for anime that I watch. But most of the time they are out of sync and the audio sometimes stops and the video is choppy. Do you know any good media players for mkv, avi, flv?

I use the default CM7 video player, since I've read it uses hw decoding.

Mobo Player ... if that doesnt work just use handbrake to convert the video :) handbrake does pretty good rips :) and supports the HW Decoding :)

I don't have a use for one but I gather that Mobo Player is highly regarded around these parts and it's what I'd install if I needed one.

I know its a cop out from the question, but it really is better to jsut encode videos so they work with the android player. That way you will get hardware decoding, meaning better performance and longer battery life - none of these audio problems you are referring to.

I posted some Hanbrake presets for Blade here:

Otherwise, just use mp4 container with AAC audio and h.264 baseline profile video.
