Guest Frankish Posted November 21, 2011 Report Posted November 21, 2011 Well as topic says. Are there any? Should I ask for a look at the phone before I buy it? Or will I be fine to buy and take home? Thanks! Going to get mine tomorrow. :-)
Guest Posted November 21, 2011 Report Posted November 21, 2011 Coming from the blade,I am very impressed with the omc. The only let down for me is the casing is plasticy, but a good case can solve that. And camera is nothing to shout about.Other than that,I have found no floors at all. But one trick I lernt is when you buy a phone, get it to a black screen to see for light leak or dead picsels.I had two blades and both had these problems. However,my omc screen is perfect.

Guest dibbles Posted November 21, 2011 Report Posted November 21, 2011 My wife and me continue to be amazed with the phone after both coming from the San Fran. We do not regret for one minute the change as the extra screen size is simply stunning. With the Orange goodie box at the moment being available at their shops it meant that we got a few extras thrown in as well :) The ROM scene is not as active (but still great work has been done and continues to do so) as the Blade section, due to the nightlies etc but then again it was getting tiresome flashing the phone several times a week :D
Guest D3abL3 Posted November 21, 2011 Report Posted November 21, 2011 (edited) Test the notification sounds, specially when receiving a phone call. Some people reported their sound is too low, sometimes start low and rises, sometimes doesn't event ring... Apart from that, is good to go :) Edited November 21, 2011 by D3abL3
Guest atillaahun Posted November 21, 2011 Report Posted November 21, 2011 (edited) Well, the back of the plastic case is a real piece of s***, my hand sweats on it under 5 mins, and since it's big enough not to be hold comfortable and safely, I do have to concentrate on not to slip out of my hand. The display also have some insensitivity issues, but that only seems to be a Hungarian specialty so far, which I hope to be fixed by the latest ZTE TPT update. Besides that, it's big and cheap enough to still worth to buy of course. Altough the HU T-Mobile just put it on discount from ~145 pounds to ~130, I'm not sure that I would have bought it for 145. Best is for the Spanish, they got the right case I would really wanna buy, just dunno how. Edited November 21, 2011 by atillaahun
Guest Frankish Posted November 21, 2011 Report Posted November 21, 2011 (edited) Some really good replies here guys thanks for taking the time to reply. Regarding the slippery back the white gs2 I have is the same glossy back, I always use a case though. Edited November 21, 2011 by Frankish
Guest oxyg3n89 Posted November 21, 2011 Report Posted November 21, 2011 (edited) How about audio output ? Does it produce noticable background hiss with some other noise?I mean while volume set to low, quiet environment + good quality earphones? Are owners of Omc happy about that?considering if its worth OSF upgrade.. Edited November 21, 2011 by oxyg3n89
