Guest shpen Posted November 21, 2011 Report Posted November 21, 2011 I just finished developing my first Android application. It's called GridLive Wallpaper. It's a live wallpaper of 3D shapes aligned in a grid. You pick a wallpaperfor each homescreen of your launcher, and the shapes rotate between them. I decided not to get a job this summer, but to learn Android developmentinstead. After 5 months of on/off work, I am finally finished and reallyexcited to publish it! I hope you guys don't mind that I'm linking to a paidapplication, but it's as cheap as I could make it ($0.99), and I am trying toturn Android development into a viable job outside of school. Please let me know what you think! ------------------------------------------------ Customize your homescreen with a 3D animated grid! Tons of features: • Select your own wallpaper for each screen • Change the number of column/rows of animated cubes • Customize the speed and design of animation • Battery efficient: Only uses CPU when swiping through screens First, pick the correct number of homescreens that your launcher uses. Then, apply a custom image for each homescreen. Next, customize the shape, speed, design, background color, everything! If you use ADW Launcher (Cyanogen Mod 7 also) or a Sense launcher (HTCphones) be sure to change the launcher setting. If you do not change thesettings, the app will not work! MarketLink
