Problem with android market on Stock rom

Hi there,

I rooted my Dell xcd35 (ZTE Blade) some months ago and flashed CM 7.1 on it. It used to crash a lot. My device just restarts after a while if I used any apps continuously for about 30 mins.

So I decided to go back to stock rom. I installed a custom firmware from

http://android.modac...ra-via-windows/ .

Then flashed the stock rom from

http://android.modac...froyo-gen2-rom/

It went all well except for the Android Market. It doesn't update itself and neither does download any files. It says that my device has got a low memory whereas when I checked, it had 230 mb free phone memory... Even my sd card has about 2GB space left in it. So I suggest someone to give me a solution for this problem...

Also, if there is a way to completely unroot my phone, I would really appreciate it....Thanks...

Use TPT to repartition the space, which upgrades to Gen2, installs clockwork, and a gen2 ROM of your choice :)

For CM7.1 - I advise to use the latest nightly. :)

hiya I could be way off, but iam thinking t0mm13b stating you need to repartion the cache partion on your phone to a bigger size as this is why your getting the not enough space issue when downloading from market, don't think it's space on your sdcard where the problem is

I already followed this method before flashing CM7 ( ie. flashing via windows). As I stated above I have got 230mb of free space in my phone memory. This problem occurs when I flash the stock rom. CM7 works fine...

If I am missing the point, I would like you to post a link or show me the way to repartition the cache partition...Thanks for the help so far. :)

hiya, linky as required :)

additional: iam thinking would you need to repartiton the phone to the same partition layout size wise, as when was stock, which would have had a different amount of meg for each partition?
