Guest Kendrite Posted November 24, 2011 Report Posted November 24, 2011 OK, here goes (deep breath). I've an Acer Liquid Metal: Android 2.3.6 Baseband A4-03.32.01 Kernal: 2.6.35.7-perf+ Build: Acer_liquidMT_4.000.13_AAP_GEN2 16Gb memory card Since I got the phone I've had constant issues regarding running out of memory. I don't think I have a huge number of things installed, but include the following: Flash Player AcerNidus App2SD Astro file manager Barcode scanner Buisiness calander Dolphin browser Dropbox eBay Facebook Flashlight Gmail KeePass Maps Market Morelocal 2 Netcounter Solitaire Superuser SVOX Classic TTS Titanium backup Voice Search Weather Australia I only have 26 Mb of memory left free which is really limiting when I want to install Go Launcher or a decent game or even just a few more apps. I've moved everything I can to the SD card using App2SD. Phone is rooted and I have Vashes Recovery installed too. With my limited knowledge my question is: Is there a ROM that I can install that will either take up less memory (and thus leave more available) or one that manages the available memory better so I can install more things??? It doesn't have to work miracles, just something basic that is stable. It'd be nice if it looked good ( I managed to install Go Launcher and thought it looked great though then I only had a few Mb memory left when I did). Sorry if there is an obvious answer to this but I've done some looking and not found one. Really appreciate any feedback or suggestions. Don't think I'm being rude if I don't reply straight away, have a young family and gets busy but I will reply if there are suggestions!! Regards, David

Guest siggey Posted November 24, 2011 Report Posted November 24, 2011 Why don't you use ext2 partition with darktremor's scripts? Search on xda...
