4 Apr Ir13 (IMM76D / 4.0.4 / CDMA + GSM): MoDaCo Custom ROM for the Galaxy Nexus

Just flashed, however, I have been on the "Google" padlock screen for 10 mins.

Is this normal? It never happened on previous MoDaCo roms I have ran.

Edit

Just checked, my MD5 doesn't match the download file name! Doh!

Restoring Backup!

And that's why you back up. :D

Hello,

I just flashed it over IR 8 stable without wipe of course.

I was able to reproduce the issue.

Nandroid saved me!

Investigating... hold fire while I check the download.

No wipe should be necessary.

OK, I just baked and it booted OK! Pretty much default options (no kernel options selected)... for those stuck on the G logo, did you select a custom kernel?

So can we choose "Compatibility 4.03" and one of custom kernel ?

Thanks

I heartily recommend using the stock kernel (don't check any boxes in the 'kernel' section).

This still a 4.0.2 build or is it something better? ;)

A very recent 4.0.2 build. 4.0.3 is coming, but Samsung is still testing internally (yeah, I dunno why either!)

Edit

Keep getting Google + Has stopped errors. There doesn't seem to be a market update?

If you go into the G+ app in Market you should see an update.

GPS looks OK here (I have just got a fix in maps), could you elaborate?

Here's a general ICS fix... if you flash between ROMs and you find your home button doesn't work any more... do the following via ADB...

adb shell am start -a MAIN -n com.google.android.setupwizard/com.google.android.setupwizard.SetupWizardTestActivity

...complete the wizard and you'll be sorted. :)

I couldn't get a Fix in Maps, and when I ran GPS Status app, and it says GPS is disabled, even when its not.

The GPS Status app worked in IR-8.

I do see an update in the Market now, it wasn't there before! Honestly Guv! :D

If I am working ok (apart from GPS), should I re-bake now you have fixed the issues?

Cheers

Can't do any harm! :)

As I mentioned above, i'd recommend the stock kernel, or what for MCK r8 (unless you're using somebody else's kernel with the compatability patch).
