USB Mass storage NOT 'APX'?

I've just purchased a Vega and I'm trying to get Vegacomb 3.2 on the device.

Firstly I'm trying to get VegaModdedStock_v1.10_v2 installed. I'm following the guide here:

I keep removing the Nvidia tegra driver using vegatools, but every time I start the vega in recovery its just recognised as a 'mass storage device' not APX as the guide. I cannot progress?

Any ideas please?

You are not getting your Vega into recovery mode. In recovery, you will see NOTHING on the screen, not even the backlight. If you see the backlight, you missed it. Power off and try again. It takes practice and vary the timings a little.
