Guest basem1970 Posted November 26, 2011 Report Posted November 26, 2011 (edited) I just managed to install the clockwork recovery and rooted the phone. I wanted to flash the Gingeruay rom so i downloaded the zip file, copied into the sd card, wiped the user data did a back up and then installed the zip file from the sd card. I rebooted and the phone is stuck at the first screen with the word acer and android picture...what should i do? Edited November 26, 2011 by basem1970
Guest basem1970 Posted November 26, 2011 Report Posted November 26, 2011 it is all sorted afetr multiple attempts. I restored from the back up and then flashed the new rom while the phone being charged...I am not sure if that made difference but it is all working now
Guest Chrisund123 Posted November 26, 2011 Report Posted November 26, 2011 Very difficult to brick a phone these days, so long as you can get into recovery you should be just fine with a quick flash to save the day lol.

This. Unless the phone shows no signs of life e.g. no LED lights even coming on then there's always a chance it's recoverable.
