Guest Sebastian404 Posted November 26, 2011 Report Posted November 26, 2011 A list of all currently know stock ROMs for the ZTE Blade 2/Orange San Francisco II/T-Mobile Vivacity device. [ROM] : Stock ROMs for ZTE Blade 2/Orange San Francisco II/T-Mobile Vivacity
Guest Sebastian404 Posted November 26, 2011 Report Posted November 26, 2011 Just to mention, these are missing the recovery partition, if anyone has an un-molested device and they want to help out, you can flash clockworkmod recovery to the boot partition and then dump the original recovery partition... If your upto the challenge and feel as if you want to be part of the Big Society let me know..

Guest Sebastian404 Posted November 28, 2011 Report Posted November 28, 2011 I updated my blog with the more recent roms (in clockwork mod recovery compatible format)
Guest Simon O Posted November 28, 2011 Report Posted November 28, 2011 anything different in the newer roms?
Guest Sebastian404 Posted November 28, 2011 Report Posted November 28, 2011 anything different in the newer roms? I was having a look, I cant really see anything major, still looking tho...
Guest Adam Cable Posted November 29, 2011 Report Posted November 29, 2011 I've tried the install stock roms for the SF2 via Clockwork Mod, all I get is: Finding update package... Opening update package... Installing update... Installation aborted. Any ideas guys? Thanks, Adam

Opening update package... Installing update... Installation aborted. Any ideas guys? Thanks, Adam They aren't in the right format for recovery. They will need to be extracted and made into CWM recovery zips. Better option would be to provide nandroid backups of the stock roms. That's easy to do.

Thanks, Adam which ones did you try, the ones linked on the first post are the only ones that should work with clockworkmod recovery......
Guest Adam Cable Posted November 29, 2011 Report Posted November 29, 2011 Tried http://files.podtwo.com/roms/stock/zte/blade2/OUK_P736VV1.0.0B09-update_signed.zip and http://files.podtwo.com/roms/stock/zte/blade2/OUK_P736VV1.0.0B11-update_signed.zip, both show the same error. Did download and try http://files.podtwo.com/roms/stock/zte/blade2/P736EV1.0.0B12-update_signed.zip which worked (hurrah!) but when I realised this was for the Vivacity, I pushed back over Clockworkmod recovery and unbranded ROM. Adam Ah, seems something went a bit wrong with the upload of the OUK files.. I'm pushing them back up again, they will be there in about 30-40 minutes...
Guest Adam Cable Posted November 29, 2011 Report Posted November 29, 2011 Just let me know when they're there, and I'll test :) Cheers! Adam

Guest unrandomsam Posted December 2, 2011 Report Posted December 2, 2011 On the skate tutorial there is even a video (Not that I would ever choose a video to do anything). It cannot be made any easier. (The only possibility would be to make a full solution but it would be really time consuming and likely would break a few phones - Don't think I would get testers either.)
Guest Liamness Posted December 23, 2011 Report Posted December 23, 2011 Just a quick question before I break my phone. To revert to stock, I would need to flash the stock rom (in my case, the Orange UK image helpfully provided by unrandomsam) using the following command fastboot flashall <filename> Right? I would like to put everything back like it was, because I want to try and unlock the phone. Probably should've done that first time around really.
Guest Liamness Posted December 23, 2011 Report Posted December 23, 2011 Sorry, didn't realise you could flash the recovery partition with clockworkmod, I thought for some reason that wouldn't work. But it did. NVM
Guest MCZQ Posted January 30, 2012 Report Posted January 30, 2012 The update tool gave me the following P736EV1.0.0B13.zip which I assume is new, can anyone dig up info on it? I keep getting lost on the zte site! http://www.mediafire.com/?b9d38933nmxwrp1
