Unable to receive texts with new installation of Swedish Spring RLS5

Hi all,

I've been trying to get Swedish Spring RLS5 installed and setup but after almost completing the setup, I realised I was unable to receive any text messages. After trying for quite a while to fix it (mostly playing with text message applications (Default Messages and Handcent) and other settings, I gave up and reinstalled it at which point I received all the texts I had been testing with so I was again able to receive text messages. Since that point, all I've done (I think) is update the apps that come installed with it, installed Launcher pro and the "Three" app and now I am again unable to receive any text messages. I uninstalled the Three app, switched back to the default launcher and uninstalled the updates to each of the apps one at a time but to no avail.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

P.s. Just in case it's of any relevance, I also had a problem with Market force quitting but I managed to resolve that by starting it and then killing it from task manager so that it isn't running when updating until it successfully updates. Also, it's a Gen1 blade.

Is there any reason you're specifically trying to install froyo? There are many stable 2.3 roms out now.

This one runs great for me, and supports Gen1 :)

Hey, no there isn't - I just read that it was a very stable rom and it supports/includes overclocking (which I'm now interested in considering Flash works on the blade now) so decided I would try it.
