how to edit cfg files under root

i rooted my mobile and i have superuser app... i am using root explorer .. whenever i try to modify any .cfg file under root then it gives me error saying that it's read only file

. how can i edit the files

i want to edit /root/etc/hwvolumefactor.cfg

How exactly did you manage to post 3 threads? :) lol anyway you need to click the button "mount r/w" in upper right in root explorer.

lol..as if i don't know that.... it's not working then also... btw thanks..

i downloaded root system file browser and it solved my problem and it's the best
