Reason I'm asking is because I'm jealous of the community around the OSF and I want to know can we join the community with our OMCs ? :)

Apps usually work across all android devices,unless they are armv7 apps only. As to roms and themes from blade forum,thats not a good idea.But its possible that sami becks monte carlo rom for blade would work on skate,but I would not recomend trying that.
