Guest soundsk Posted December 1, 2011 Report Posted December 1, 2011 Hi, I have gotten used to using the camera on my 2x very often, but there is one thing that keeps bugging me - the FAT32 4GB file size limit. At the moment I get around this by recording at 720p, but I would really really like to record at 1080p but this only gives me 1hr of continuous recording. I need at least 1h30m. Since NTFS is not an option, I was wondering if it would be possible to modify the camera app to split the files automatically. That is, it records up to the file size limit and once it reaches it, it starts a new recording using the same camera settings as before, until it reaches the limit again and so on, until someone hits STOP. Perhaps Paul can shed some light on this, he also removed the shutter sound which was awesome BTW. Cheers!
Guest SuperSkill Posted December 3, 2011 Report Posted December 3, 2011 Is it because mac ntfs is not an option?? What about exfat?? :-)
