I've got volume problems with headphones

Just brought a new pair of big over-ear headphones and they are extremely loud.

So loud that when i have my omc on lowest volume they are still too loud for quite places (cos there are only about 10 different volume levels and 1 is too loud and 0 is obviously just nothing)

Does anyone know a way i can get the volume lower. I haven't seen any apps that would help

An Equalizer...don't you think it would help? Set all levels to minimum...

What rom are you using ?

If stock or bluemonte,turn off dolby sound,this will lower the volume.

I am using bluemonte with the headphones provided with the phone and I am in the same situtation even with Dolby off

Cheers, i should have thought of dolby, what does it even do anyway

i'm out without my headphones now but that should make a difference, and i might try a equaliser aswell
