Guest matt` Posted December 1, 2011 Report Posted December 1, 2011 (edited) Guys, Can I remove the US style input when typing a phone number? Eg. 07000000000 is being shown as 070-000-00000, can the dashes be removed? Thanks, Matt Edited December 1, 2011 by matt`
Guest Liquid_Metal_UK Posted December 1, 2011 Report Posted December 1, 2011 Yeah, I am another UK user of this phone who is finding those hyphens in the phone numbers distracting, would be good to revert them to look normal.
Guest matt` Posted December 1, 2011 Report Posted December 1, 2011 Yeah, I am another UK user of this phone who is finding those hyphens in the phone numbers distracting, would be good to revert them to look normal. Found out how to fix this: https://market.android.com/details?id=jp.co.c_lis.ccl.morelocale Then once installed, hit custom, top on there then enter: en GB And save, works a treat!
Guest Liquid_Metal_UK Posted December 3, 2011 Report Posted December 3, 2011 Cheers Matt, just went to download it and guess what? "Insufficient Memory" Can't wait to root this thing as this 256MB internal memory is so restrictive, lets down such a superb phone.
Guest Liquid_Metal_UK Posted December 3, 2011 Report Posted December 3, 2011 OK, after toggling my apps I now have managed to install it and have done the change but it doesn't appear to have retrospectively changed my contacts, did it change all of yours Matt or will it only work on future contacts?
Guest ltpitt Posted December 4, 2011 Report Posted December 4, 2011 Install a custom ROM, use Link2sd, solve your storage problem forever :) Sent from my Liquid MT using Tapatalk
Guest matt` Posted December 4, 2011 Report Posted December 4, 2011 Install a custom ROM, use Link2sd, solve your storage problem forever :) Sent from my Liquid MT using Tapatalk Yeah I've been using it for a couple of days now. Got the 2gb card into 2x 1gb partitions. Not entirely sure if its working properly though ~ thought a link was made which made all app's that appear to be on internal actually on the SD but I've found I still need to manually move a few things. How did you set your Link2SD up, just selected the partition on first run & leave it?
Guest Frojd Posted December 4, 2011 Report Posted December 4, 2011 With Link2SD you set up the ext-partition and then manually link whatever apps you want linked (i.e. not those you don't want to stop working when you start USB-mass storage).

Guest bripz Posted December 6, 2011 Report Posted December 6, 2011 Just install the Custom Locale 2 app. It's free and is only a few kilobytes. sorry i think it was called more locale 2... well something along those lines.
Guest billylows Posted February 14, 2012 Report Posted February 14, 2012 sorry i think it was called more locale 2... well something along those lines. Did anyone have any joy in changing the phone numbers ? I can not find any app that does this for me
Guest billylows Posted February 16, 2012 Report Posted February 16, 2012 works a mint! thanks. What app did you use ? Does it only change the numbers you add after you have installed it or do the existing numbers in the phone book change?
Guest Big_Bang_Bones Posted February 17, 2012 Report Posted February 17, 2012 What app did you use ? I followed this to the letter: Found out how to fix this: https://market.andro....ccl.morelocale Then once installed, hit custom, top on there then enter: en GB And save, works a treat! Does it only change the numbers you add after you have installed it or do the existing numbers in the phone book change? most numbers changed format by themselfs except 1 or 2 (strangely enough those listed under "?")
