my device is :

ZTE-U V880 P729CUB01 UNI_CN_V880 2.0 ->> is gen 2 i check fro /proc/

arrive with andro 2.2.2

i can unlock ram ? in any way or it physical 256M?

there are ? any identified detail at /proc or linux file that can mark IF it's 256M or 512M phyisicaly?

No, you have the Chinese Blade, which actually only has 256MB RAM physically. There is no way to unlock more. I have the same device. Too bad...

Hi, i have a brazilian version, called zte v880, come with android 2.2.2, hw version p729_oib01, kernel 2.6.32.9, they just have 170mb of ram aviable, where the rest? the mr pigfish say this is gen 2, is this cp a chinese model? is possible unlock to 512mb or is just 256mb physically too? thanks and sorry about my english.

Not sure, but be aware that if you try to unlock it and it doesn't work you will have a brick and there might be no way back.

I think v880 is the Chinese one, so you may already have all the RAM available.

Thanks hedgepigdaniel and Amphoras, so, I think I'll expect the warranty over (in a year), open the device and look at the memory chip itself.

170M ram aviable or 170M ram free?

170mb of ram free means you have 512M RAM,

256M RAM after boot will only have about 30-70M ram free

Hi Brazil blades only have 256mb ram I spoke to zte Brazil staff member about this last year. Sorry to disappoint

I made contact with the zte Brazil, and has no forecast of upgradeability android blade :(
