Rom Confusion

I've got a Gen 1 OLED OSF bought on the day of release & flashed shortly afterwards. I decided (last night on a whim) to reflash, the poll seems to favour CM7. But for the life of me I can't understand which ROM I should use. I know it clearly states that G1 ROM's can't be used on G2 devices but is that the same in reverse? Would appreciate it if someone could post an a link to the latest CM7 ROM which would work on my phone. All the other links I have found on here seem to be dead.

wbaw does a tpt from Gen 1 to Gen 2 on xda forum. he has one with cm nightly 259 and it repartitions it at the same time.

Gen 1 and 2 is just different partition sizes as far as I have learned but its safer to use Gen 1 on a Gen 1 device or Gen 2 on a Gen 2 device.
