Iplayer is back up and running using flash 10.2 and low quality setting over wifi

Press menu, go to settings and you can change quality at the bottom of the menu :)

Use the app. Search for bbc.iplayer.android-signed.apk I believe this version allows connection over 3g

No, I'm Gen1 running Gingerbread (2.3)

I dont think it installs on Froyo (2.2)

Gen2 2.3.5 for me. Wifes on 2.3.4. All work fine. Remember you cannot install via market.
