Hi,

I have a ZTE Blade with CM 7.1 (don´t kow if it happens on another devices / roms) and i´m having a serious problem.

Internal storage memory is getting low at a very fast rate.

The problem is, when i install an app, it decrease the internal storage memory, ok everything normal.. but when i move it to the SD card or even when i uninstalled it, i can´t recovery the free space it had before..

For example, i installed an app of 30mb (automatically on the SD Card), and it occupied the 30mb on the internal storage memory too.. Worse, i uninstalled the app, and the 30mb are still used on internal storage memory. I´ve tried to clear the market cache without any success.. I suspect it has the apk install file somewere on the internal storage memory, but where?

If it uses 30MB in /data/dalvik-cache you cannot easily get it back (You need it to be able to use the app)

Other options I can think of

use ext(2/3/4) partition on sdcard and use a method where the dalvik-cache for apps on the sdcard also goes to the sdcard

odex the app (Odexed apps don't use dalvik-cache) I would probably go for this method.

Have you repartitioned ? If not do that by any means you want.
