Guest alcap Posted December 8, 2011 Report Posted December 8, 2011 Hey there, I'm thinking about buying a liquid metal for my gf. I was once an Acer Liquid user (now I own a Nexus S), and I had SEVERAL issues with my liquid. It had a weird I/O issue that was hardware related, so there was nothing no one could do. Is that present on the Metal? Also, can you remove the breeze UI by selecting not to use it on the settings menu? I remember that on the liquid's 2.2 you could. I heard people complain about call quality. Is it really bad? Thanks for your opinions

Guest stonebear Posted December 8, 2011 Report Posted December 8, 2011 I have had no issues at all except call quality. I Moved from a Motorola L2 (lol) to this phone and everything works perfectly except I have trouble understanding what people are saying when I speak to them! It might be because I have Dolby enabled? I recently listened to an mp3 (through speakers after swapping from my iPod) and it was way too bassy until I disabled it maybe now I have done that I will be able to understand people, lol.
Guest Frojd Posted December 8, 2011 Report Posted December 8, 2011 The call quality is not top notch, and it's a bit quiet too. Doesn't work too good in the subway or crowded areas. Using headset it is fine.
Guest Smiff2 Posted December 11, 2011 Report Posted December 11, 2011 how bad is call quality.. compared to Blade? compared to cheap nokia phones? compared to high end Android phones? any reference please?
Guest ltpitt Posted December 11, 2011 Report Posted December 11, 2011 I work with mg mt (1000 minutes month, more or news) and I've never had a single problem. Of course it is not top notch crystal clear high end Sony Ericsson or Nokia device but it really does its job. :) Sent from my Liquid MT using Tapatalk
