Kitchen Updates

Hi, I hope it's okay to ask here.. how often are kitchens updated? I was hoping to be able to cook an up to date ROM for my GalaxyS2 but noticed that the kitchen hasn't been updated for ages and threads are not being replied to. Please can someone shed some light on the situation so I can understand the way of things here.

There is no guarantee that a rom kitchen will be kept up to date as Paul doesn't have enough time to maintain all the devices.

If any other developers want to take over a kitchen that hasn't been updated or want to start a kitchen up then they can do so by contacting a moderator or administrator.

Oh that kinda sucks. I thought it was a continual thing.

Also what the hell is up with Easy Freeze? I thought that would be a good temporary measure to remove some bloat but it's ended up screwing up my phone :( It's showing up in 'My Apps' in the market but remains unpurchased even tho I tried to buy it 3 times. When it did work 'freezing' an app (say the the stock browser) instead froze my whole phone then FC'd.

It's not looking good, I wish I'd kept my money in my pocket tbh.

All is well, I've found Garrys ROM!

Wish I could take out half of the Samsung crud but I'm satisfied enough.

I'm pleased to say Easy Freeze works perfectly on Garrys ROM!

I'm over the moon with my s2 now.

Everything is tickityboo :)
