Best rom for me to change to?

Ok, I have a gen1 san francisco, and I changed to custom rom FLB-froy0-r10. Has been fine on the whole, but lately, have been having many resets and more recently, the horrible screen locks! Which would be the best way to eradicate my problems. And could you talk me step by step, on how to install the best rom for me..including how to back up etc. Thanks and sorry for being such a nube. I found the Swedish_Spring_RLS4b very stable when I was Gen1

Definitely Moldovan Mile hight pir. Very smooth and can overclock to 650mhz

Gen1 should be upgraded to Gen2 via TPT. Better partition lauout, better radio's etc ...

Thanks for that, will definitely give it a try once i get my phone working again, currently have hardware issues I think, as touchscreens not responding.
