Accuracy of touchscreen at edges

Hi,

I use a launcher and some apps that utilise the bottom of the screen.

It is much harder to get a reliable press on these compared to icons and buttons in the middle of the screen.

Is there any way to recalibrate the display, like I could do on my old Palm?

Thanks,

I don't think any capacitive screen has a recalibration option, sorry.

On cm7 I use the touchscreen test app in dev tools ans have no trouble touching anywhere! Just hate the fact I have a ton of dust under the screen!

You have dust!

A few have mentioned this, where exactly is the dust ?

I have not had this yet(touch wood)

Maybe we should have a skate breakdown like the blade had,so the digitizer can be removed to get rid of dust.

I am under the impression that the skate breakdown will be very similar,if not same as blade.

There's dust under my screen too, it's only on the left of the device (looking straight at the screen, so the side with the volume rocker), and its at the top and bottom (about 3/4inch in). Annoying when using in sunlight but unnoticeable indoors/darker times of the day. Still it's the first 'droid I've ever had to suffer this problem, and it's a massive irritation.

Mines same place top left corner. If I blow into that corner I see my breath in this top corner. Not sealed properly at all.
