Guest King Mustard Posted December 11, 2011 Report Posted December 11, 2011 ZTE Skate is stuck in an Android boot logo loop. I can access FTM mode, however. How can I install stock/custom ROMs without ClockworkMod?
Guest Atomix86 Posted December 12, 2011 Report Posted December 12, 2011 Use the offline updater tool whilst connected in FTM mode.
Guest King Mustard Posted December 12, 2011 Report Posted December 12, 2011 Use the offline updater tool whilst connected in FTM mode. I believe you mean "FTM_flash_tools" If so, when I run FTM_flash_tools, it never detects my phone. There is always one Unknown Device in Device Manager that never installs(tried Handset_USB_Driver.exe and google_usb_driver.zip (inc. the inf)).
Guest Atomix86 Posted December 12, 2011 Report Posted December 12, 2011 It's the tool found at this link: http://www.multiupload.com/QQ5TLZ9GZG Not sure about the USB problem, best thing you could do is right click the unknown device and do an automatic search for new drivers.

I couldn't fix the driver issue at all so I just ran the tool on another system, worked instantly :)
