Guest King Mustard Posted December 13, 2011 Report Posted December 13, 2011 Is root available for GB_BP_P743V1.0.0B01 (stock - Brightpoint)? Or is root access currently only available for OUK_P743TV1.0.0B05 (Orange ROM)?

I can only find r2-OUK_P743TV1.0.0B05-skate-superboot.zip on these forums. When I try to flash that onto GB_BP_P743V1.0.0B01, it of course fails (Android boot logo loop).

Guest King Mustard Posted December 13, 2011 Report Posted December 13, 2011 So you want to stay at stockrom? Because if not you dont need to do superboot... GB_BP_P743V1.0.0B01 (Brightpoint ROM) is already rooted, you mean?
Guest Atomix86 Posted December 13, 2011 Report Posted December 13, 2011 I think you can use Johnny Hungs superboot for it.
Guest Wacky.ddw Posted December 13, 2011 Report Posted December 13, 2011 GB_BP_P743V1.0.0B01 (Brightpoint ROM) is already rooted, you mean? No i mean you dont need to be rooted to install clockworkmod. And once you've done that. You can install Atomicblue, Cyanogenmod or what ever... So do you want to do superboot, and stay at rooted stockrom. Else i dont see why you dont just install clockworkmod instaid.

But i dont know if its safe, if you look in the thread you read allot about bricking. So if i where you i would just install clockworkmod. Install atomicblue it works better then stockrom. And it has Superuser in it. So you can use droidwall or anything that needs root acces. So you fixed your bricked device then? :D
