Anyone know anywhere you can buy an extended battery

If so,ebay,thats where I got mine,I have two with a zte battery charger.

extended as in lasts longer,

was looking for an extended battery that is like 2000mah instead of 1400mah

there are extended batteries available for other phones but i haven't seen one for the omc

could just get a spare one though

Even if you can find one, do not buy it. You will be wasting your money.

Do not believe what is written on the battery label!

Battery capacity invariably is restricted by the size and the present 1400mAh is the maximum of its size unless you get a bigger size with additional back cover.

I do not believe there is any genuine ZTE battery sold on ebay (or anywhere else). So what you are buying from ebay are almost certainly fakes.

If you are lucky, you may get 1000mAh to 1200mAh, and may be 500-600mAh in the wrose case. (Do not believe what is written n the battery label).

But stiil, at that price, it is no harm to get one as spare so I would not be against buying one, as long as you are aware of it and do not expect the impossible.

In general I would agree with your statement, but it all depends ... I just bought second battery (a week ago) with charger for really reasonable price at eBay. It was delivered in few days (very rare in case of Europe) and IT IS ORIGINAL made in November and, more importantly, hold more power then one came out of the box. If someone want a link just let me know (do not want look like promoting any sales ;-)) And it is correct - at this moment there is no chance to get >1400mAh that fit our Skate.

You can also buy these rechargeable packs that simply slot into the micro usb port and contain a rechargeable battery of their own inside (so they're not too big).
