MIUI lockscreen

Noticed a few posts on forum in the past asking for MIUI ports/themes etc.

Up to now, I was using widgetlocker, but that didn't easily allow the psuedo-animation that MIUI had (e.g. the zipper lockscreen)

Well the official Milocker has been released on the Market: Milocker

Seems pretty snappy and there are hundreds of lockscreen themes available already for download.

Will this stop screen lock freezes as I am suffering from them greatly. Once its unlocked(the screen) , It works like a charm, very responsive, but unlocking it can take anything from seconds(few attempts of on/off with the power button) or up to even HOURS. Any help/advice?

MIlocker supports an unlock combo regardless of the screen, just press back & volume+.

Does that work? What ROM are you using? Have you already tried a different locker?

Just tried it... Not as good as I thought. Pretty choppy and laggy. Half of the themes has Chinese letters written on the lockscreen wallpapers. After all, I think cm7's lockscreen is good, not so fancy, but at least practical.

Running great on latest/last cm7 nightly, overclocked though (726-244)
