So I have found a MIUI Dev who is willing to try and port MIUI Over for us, But he need us to provide a device (Casue there cheap :D)

Would we as a community be interested?

Before giving him anything make him prove he has the access he is going to need.

(Uploading the MIUI dalvik changes would be a good way).

Unless this guy has access to the MIUI code then he has no chance in hell of producing a MIUI port. Why? Because the Blade2 is ARM6 and MIUI does not support ARM6 devices.

The best you can do is run CyanogenMod with a MIUI lockscreen, MIUI theme, MIUI launcher etc etc.

I think most folks are hoping for an ICS/CM9 port to be honest.

if someone has got it running on the orange monte carlo it shouldnt be to hard getting it runninig on sf2 should it?

The more ROM's the better. An ICS port would be great in my opinion.

I think tilal has the Skate patchrom still available which could probably just be copy pasted.

I may get my hands on on of these again and possibly past it on to a developer. Let me contact the Miui guys I was talking to before.

You can port tilal's MIUIFusionX with my Porting Tool if you choose Method B and obtain a 4.0.3 ICS ROM yourself...
