Which phone for a Chinese mum?

Well my mum is going to be coming to the UK for a 3 months and so I've decided to get her a phone for her to use here. I'm on giffgaff so I'll topup her mobile with £10 or so every month and get her the £6 topup for data and the rest for her to call whatever she needs to (giffgaff to giffgaff calls and texts are free). Her english is not bad but not fluent enough but I'll set the phone to Chinese for her anyway.

Here are the choices:

1) Acer Liquid Metal - £140 from expansys

2) Orange San Francisco II - £100 + £10 Topup

3) T-Mobile Vivacity - £100 + £10 Topup

4) Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman - £100 + £10 Topup + £3 Delivery

5) Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro - £130

I'll need to get the phone unlocked though and apart from the Sony Ericsson ones it should be easy (the Acer is unlocked too).

As she's going to be here for 3 months, she might like a half decent camera on the phone. I'm in uni for the next 3 months pretty much everyday so I'll be busy myself really. She'll be texting me in Chinese most of the time (as I'll be busy in lectures or something) so it'll need to have a half decent touchscreen. Her eyesight also isn't the best so maybe a bigger screen is better? But it will have higher resolution so won't the fine details be "too fine" for her?

Finally, she'll be using Skype to keep contact with the rest of our family but I'm sure all of them will have Skype.

I think I've missed something but I can't quite think what. I guess build quality is pretty important too but I don't remember my mum ever breaking any phones.

Many thanks!

I would check in that section, but I think I saw a couple of people saying Skype didn't work/didn't work very well on the San Francisco II/T-Mobile Vivacity, so might want to check that out first if its important.
