Upgrade to from Hero to Nexus Prime?

Evening All,

I've finally :rolleyes: hit my upgrade period and looking for an upcoming phone with a 1.5ghz+ processor, 1GB+ RAM and 16/32GB storage and a good 8mp camera.... ideally running ICS. Probably asking for too much :blink: !!

My questions to you all:

Does anybody know if a phone of that spec will be coming our in the next few weeks?

Would it be worth waiting - if so, how long?

Is worth going to GN for 18months?

I use the phone for video playback/photos/music/internet - Recommend another phone?

The Samsung SII has phenomenal reviews every where; fast, fast, fast! 8mp Camera!! Would it still be quick in ICS?

GN has been built/designed with ICS in mind, other phones haven't, how would this affect other phones?

I currently have a HTC Hero, running MoDaCo Custom Custom ROM 2. Unfortunately its dying on its ar$e. Screen maybe damaged, can't even put the unlock pattern to unlock the phone.

I'm using my Works phone; HTC Sensation - limited as too what we can do to/on/with it ...!
