Guest krongs Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Hi, I've been using CM7 since it was launched but have grown very weary of the seemingly random reboots I suffer from a lot, and as a result am looking for a new rom. The one thing I would really appreciate is a quick and easy 2g/3g toggle of the sort you get in CM7 (I had it on the pull-down widget but seem to remember it being an option on the homescreen widget too). I've given MMHMP and Blade mix 360 a quick go but the power widgets in these roms appear don't appear to be customisable, i.e they are as they are and you cannot change them (also the network indicator on the other side of the notification bar on Blade mix takes a bit of getting used to but thats another story ;) ). Would anybody have any bright ideas/recommendations for me? Much appreciated.

Toggling 2G/3G is a protected setting now, meaning that you need to have a application running with root FROM THE SYSTEM PARTITION in order to be able to change it. Most apps that offer you the setting will actually pop open the settings screen for you to change it manually. You probably want to look at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=739530 or EasyProfiles can also do it.
