My device has original 2.3.4 version V20m and i am not rooted. Is there an easy way or non,to pass the CWM Recovery on my device without root, and if yes how? I want to backup rom but i dont want to be rooted! Sorry if I bore you and thank you in advance and just now I saw that I submit my question in the wrong place.Sorry again from team management! You can install the cwm directly from adb commant without root only with Froyo firmware (it use a bug that is not present with 2.3.4) So I think that you have to: 1. root the phone (with SOC) 2. install the cwm (with ADB command but without the line that use the bug) 3. unroot the phone (with SOC) An alternative is to install the cwm in NVFlash mode like the metod to root the 2.3.4: 1.install the driver for APX-mode 2.go to APX-mode 3.install CWM and then you have finish (if you don't want to root the phone) http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1327599
