Guest nabby21 Posted December 17, 2011 Report Posted December 17, 2011 Ok, so my phones touchscreen stopped responding recently. I wiped phone and installed new rom, which solved the problem for about a second! Literally! Shortly after, I randomly figured out that if i squeezed the phone at the top (Just above the volume up button, and just below the charger port- at the same time) The phone becomes responsive? What does this mean? Anyone shed some light please?? And I'm outside of warranty, so what are the necessary stages to fixing this? Thankyou in advance
Guest trueno2k Posted December 17, 2011 Report Posted December 17, 2011 You could try tightening the screws near where you squeezed the phone on the back behind the battery cover... if that doesn't work, you may need to take it apart and put it back together again... Just a question has it been dropped before???... Normally dropping it can loosen the screws or break the plastic that the screws are holding together, if the latter is the case then you're just out of luck, this just mean you need to replace the outer casing and they are hard to come by nowadays... I suggest go for the Christmas Gift Orange Monte Carlo (OMC) aka ZTE Skate, unlock it and join the Skate community... Thats my two cents worth! :P
