Hi there!

I bought a new ZTE Blade (Gen.2 ) phone 3 days ago and I was so handy I spoiled it already. I tried to install custom ROM - Cyanogenmod 7.1.0. Through ROM Manager I restarted phone to recovery and install ROM from SD card. The problem is I forgot to wipe data and cache. Now phone is booting for eternity and doesn't work. But there is even bigger problem. When I press Vol- & Power button I can only reach FTM. So I can't fix that. Maybe i didn't flash recovery or something like that.

Please help me, I need my phone functional again. Is there any possibility to repair it easily? I would be really glad for any help.

Thank you.

I don't know how you managed to flash anything without clockwork, but this should help you out: you won't need anything past method 3.

Well, Method 2 doesn't work for me. I can see only "<Waiting for device>" and I don't know why. And I can't use Method 3 because I can't reach SD. Is there any other option to access SD stored in my phone or I just need to put SD to some other device?

not if it doesn't boot, no. You can try method 4, which will achieve the same thing without an SD card, but there is more risk of something going wrong.

So... at last I find out that my old phone has also slot for microsd card, so I plugged in, connect through USB to PC and follow Method 3. And... AMAZING - it works! biggrin.gif

Many thanks, my friend. You saved me. I wish I could show you how I'm grateful not just by words.

At least - MANY, MANY THANKS!

And last question (hopefuly)

Is there any possibility to install original ROM to ZTE Blade again? I was more satisfied before and I'd like to get it back.

search is your friend, but you can reinstall the stock rom if you can find it in these places: http://android.modac...s/page__st__400, http://android.modac...mware-packages/, http://android.modaco.com/topic/324239-rom-zte-blade-stock-roms/

no, you only need to press power and volume down to get into recovery. you are confusing it with TPT, for which you sometimes need the menu key in addition to power and volume up.
