Help with resetting to factory settings for warranty return.

I need to send my phone back for repair. I need advice on how to set it back to factory setting so that Acer have no excuses for not repairing it or charging me.

I know how and can put on an official ROM but I'm concerned about the recovery.

Can anyone tell me how to get it back to 'out of the box' software status?

If you flash the original rom, the original recovery comes with it.

You can test it after to make sure.

Thanks. I wasn't sure if this was the case. Trying to do the power+volume+focus thing can be a bit hit and miss.

use sd download mode or usb download mode to restore it, cause hard reset isn't enough to clean root and recovery
