Guest kayy Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 I'm currently using atomic v2 on my orange monte carlo and was just wondering is there any newer releases or another one which you reccomend. just want a change, and need it to be fast and light. also would like an app that actually works with flash :L thanks in advance :)
Guest Atomix86 Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 Flash isn't officially supported on arm6 cpu's like the omc uses. And atomic really is one of the best available, perhaps cm7 might be a little lighter but doesn't have a decent camera.

That way, you'll put the ROM how you want it with a few clicks. The only "flaw" of CM7 is that the camera doesn't record on 480p. It records on VGA resolution in 3gp format. The pictures, however, look as good as in any other ROM. If you don't have a preference to play or to record video, I recommend you CM7.

I dont think any rom currently records in 480p not even Atomic. I think its something like the flashlight it should be possible but it isnt YET.

I think its something like the flashlight it should be possible but it isnt YET. exactly... proper 480p is 800x480 something the zte blade on android 2.2 could do with a very simple mod, but they changed stuff in gingerbread (2.3) & now its very very hard to get back.. not even sure that the CM7 devs managed to get it back... this is the one & only reason why i will probably sell it & get a phone that has a 720p camera, miss the iphone 4 for that Edited December 20, 2011 by tillaz
