Guest aamiel Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 From time to time, my phone reboots when I answer a call. Anyone having the same problem? It does not seem to be rom dependent but I haven't used stock long enough to confirm. Should I get a replacement under warranty?
Guest Atomix86 Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 If it happens on many ROMs then chances are it's a hardware fault. Test it on the original ROM before trying to return it though, just in case.
Guest Wacky.ddw Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 (edited) Is it really rebooting or just the screen going black? if so you can try this. Note: Sometimes after installing a ROM your screen will turn black when you try to call/recive calls, and you have to pull the battery out. There is a simple fix for this: Go to your dailer (to make calls) and type: " *983*0# " Go to sensors and while not covering the sensor click "calibrate". On some ROMs like CyanogenMod this will not work, they have a app built in to do that. Called ZTE settings. Edited December 19, 2011 by Wacky.ddw
Guest aamiel Posted December 20, 2011 Report Posted December 20, 2011 Yes, it is really rebooting to the little green Droid. I guess I will revert to stock and resist the urge to root and over clock the phone. I am running stock at the moment but not the real one... I hope I can return the phone under warranty even though I unlocked it.

Guest v1pEr Posted December 20, 2011 Report Posted December 20, 2011 As Wacky.ddw said: I'd try first without under / overclocking and also not putting your apps & settings back with titanium backup or anything. This way you know it is not overclocking or setting related
