Guest VJWilson Posted December 23, 2011 Report Posted December 23, 2011 Right I basically tried to unlock my phone and it has went on boot loop. I tried factory reset too. I don't think i have clockwork installed And I have been told flashing it would work but honestly i am totally brand new to this and do not know what to use or do for desired effect. I only have 4 options when i go to the restore memory. 1.reboot system now 2.apply sdcard:update.zip 3. wipe data/factory reset 4. wipe cache partition. the only way i can turn off my phone is by removing the battery and i have replaced it once already for the same problem and have been told by the folk on giffgaff to ask here for advice

You should follow the tutorial to install clockworkmod. Then you should be able to boot into recovery and recover your phone.

Just read carfully, there is a part on installing the right drivers. Read part2 just run the handset driver first and then. the part on installing the other driver. Andriod driver aint showing up at all or unknown driver either

If its not recouldnised by any computer you could do a TPT but thats a matter of last resort. The link to do that is allso in my signature.
