new memory card?

hey, so I got a new 16gb memory card to replace old 8gb...Do i just copy all of content from 8gb to 16gb and thats fine?

do i need to format new 16gb memory card first?

also I did a TPT from gen1 to gen 2 in summer...and I think it gave me more internal phone memory (like 200or300mb?) i think its called partition? so do i need to do anything to my new memory card to make sure cm7 works normally as if i used my new memoy card, i will have less internal phone memory and dont u need a certain amount more to run cm7 then normal roms?

If you have any apps installed to the sdcard, then you'll need to move them back to the internal memory. Otherwise you should be ok just to copy everything over.

A TPT repartitions the internal memory of the phone, not the sdcard, so swapping it will have no effect. Unless you made an ext partition on your sdcard you shouldn't have any problem. If you did, then its probably easiest to make a backup with the old sdcard in, make an ext partition on the new sdcard, then restore the backup with the new sdcard in.
