Guest hhnnaayy Posted December 24, 2011 Report Posted December 24, 2011 (edited) Dear all, I use cm6.1 on u8230 and when I tried to to make a call using any VOIP applications like skype or viber i found that the voice comes out from the loudspeaker not from the earpiece, I googled that issue but no luck, and I found a patched skype but it couldn't load any contacts and seemed not working also. is there any way to fix this problem by patching the rom itself and make those apps or any other VOIP apps use the earpiece like in a normal call ? any help is really appreciated thanks ;) Edited December 24, 2011 by hhnnaayy
Guest D-D- Posted December 24, 2011 Report Posted December 24, 2011 The only fix I know of is using the cm7. On cm7 everything was on the phone speaker, I tried skype (older versions) and it was working (except maybe grooveIP). For all the other versions of the phone OS I used my headphones (and I use them now). If there is a patch/workaround for this to be working on cm6 it would be great. :)
Guest hhnnaayy Posted December 24, 2011 Report Posted December 24, 2011 (edited) the main problem about this phone is that you can't get everything working at the same time :) to fix this voice issue I have to lose both cameras by installing cm7 but your idea leads me to another question... can we use cm7 audio files to fix the problem on cm6 ? and if yes what files do we have to replace ? With the stock rom, I have sound in the earpiece using mobile voip. Mobile voip is a Betamax client.
Guest unp Posted December 29, 2011 Report Posted December 29, 2011 Regarding VOIP I can comment that with csipsimple the audio comes out of the earpiece after a bit of tweaking. http://code.google.c...troubleshooting
