Guest iTsDaBo Posted December 25, 2011 Report Posted December 25, 2011 Hi, just bought a ZTE Blade. After rooting and flashing a new ROM (i tried several), the camera-app won't start. The error-message :Cannot connect to camera I think it isn't a hardware problem, it worked fine with the stock Rom. I found a few possible solutions, (delete DCIM or thumbnail-folder). Tried a different camera-app. No luck so far. Any suggestions?
Guest Piscium Posted December 26, 2011 Report Posted December 26, 2011 new produced blade changed the camera component. try to flash newest CM7, and flash burstlam's fix patch, some of new blade can resolve. some still can not the way of flashing the patch is the same as you flash a rom, just no need of any wipe try and good luck! Guest iTsDaBo Posted December 26, 2011 Report Posted December 26, 2011 Later nightly version with patch did work! Only the camera picture was upside down and in black and white... Back to the stock rom for now...
Guest mike79 Posted December 26, 2011 Report Posted December 26, 2011 Sounds like you've tried CM9 (http://android.modaco.com/topic/349952-rom-cyanogenmod-9-android-403/). What's not working: - Stock browser (other browsers are ok) - No CM settings yet - FM radio (maybe it could work with a right application) - Some Google apps force closes - !No built in filemanager! - Camera - Youtube - Google Earth
Guest iTsDaBo Posted December 27, 2011 Report Posted December 27, 2011 (edited) Nope, I've tried Cm7.2 RC0 n257.. Will keep monitoring development of CM9 of course! Edited December 27, 2011 by iTsDaBo
