Maybe in 2015 if we are have to wait for a official update from ZTE.

But there allready is a Ice cream sandwich port for the ZTE skate by tilal6991 called Cyanogenmod 9.

Officially? No, never. ZTE do not update their products once at market. There is a port being worked on here at modaco but it's very much beta.

That's not completely true. There have been lots of Froyo/Gingerbread updates for the Blade across the various countries. Orange have never released an update, but if the carrier wants one then ZTE seems to give them it.

Indeed. But being another orange branded product, the OMC probably won't get an "official" update. I suppose one could argue that an unbranded skate official update could come, but they never updated the unbranded blade, instead releasing a gingerbread packing blade under a new name "libra", so it begs the question will they do that again.

Sorry atomix, the tele2 Sweden blade got an official update to 2.3.5 gingerbread this month. It's on the ZTE upgrade terminal server
