Wi Fi Mac Address Issues

Hi To All and a Merry Christmas !

Already have a Nokia N8 on Virgin contract acquired last month, prior to this had a HTC Touch 2 (naff Windows based phone). Wanted to know what all the fuss was about with Android and didn't fancy spending a massive amount so armed with a £50 Argos voucher I got for Chrimbo, I reserved and picked up an Orange Monte Carlo for £89.99 + £10 SIM (WTF ???)

Having had it for exactly 24 hours and hadn't even switched it on (new record for me) since picking it up, I decided I wanted out of Orange and have been delving on this forum for ideas. So far have managed to unlock it so now my Virgin SIM works on it and have installed clockwork Mod and changed the ROM to the latest Blue Monte-Plus ROM so far so good for my cack handedness but here goes the problems:-

I didn't back up any of the orginal ROMS so have no qnf files or anything

Is there a way now that I can get the wi fi back working (I did however write down the wi fi MAC code beforehand) as MAC address is now shown as 11:22:33:44:55:66

Simple step by step instructions please as I am a complete newbie dweeb !!!
