Expand Ext2 partition without losing data?

I'm currently using Link2SD with a 512MB Ext2 partition on a 32GB card. I'm now beginning to run low on space in the partition and was wondering if there is any way to expand it without losing data on either the Ext2 or Fat32 partitions.

If not, I'm guessing I'm going to need to back up the Fat32 partition and then repartition the card and copy the data back and then install the apps that were originally on the Ext2 partition? I currently am using Titanium backup, but I'm guessing it would only be backing up the links rather than the actual apps that are stored in the Ext2 partition?

If I go the reformat path, am I better off making the partition that Link2SD uses Fat32? Would that then allow me to resize again if need be without losing anything? I'll be looking at making the partition at least 1GB this time!

Cheers all.
