new contacts defaults to googlemail

how do i permanently change the default from googlemail to sim when i enter new contacts on an OMC? i can change it temporay but it always defaults back

Why would you want them on the sim? Everything else is backed up to your google account, besides, the sim doesn't hold full contact info such as email all that well.

Well for example I am usin google account that has various contacts from few years ago, and I am always puttin contacts in phone memory and in contacts I am usin phone memory because when it imports contacts from google I have like 5000 contacts that I dont know at all....

I was the same tbf, I ended up spending an hour or so on the PC deleting and correcting them on my account, worth it in the end ;-)

In Account&Syncs, google sync option disable sync contacts..........clear all the contacts if already loaded. Then import contacts from SIM. I did the same.

i dont have that many contacts so the sim is ok, but i do see the point of contacts on googlemail now, thx all
