Hello and happy new year to you all,

I am new to this but have so far (with the help of this forum) managed to complete the following on my Monte Carlo:

install clockwork mod

flashed superboot

intalled custom rom (Atomic V2.5)

everything is fine except when i go to the market and try to download some of my fav apps that i used on my iphone such as facebook and angry birds it tells me they are not compatible with my device.

I had installed facebook once already but had a problem so deleted it and went to re download it but had the "your device isnt compatible with this item" error.

I have searched for information and i have tried changing the resolution (currently set to 200) to 160, the phone doesnt really like it and the apps still say incompatible after clearing the Market app info.

I have also tried to modify the build.prop file but although i can copy/past it to back it up and change it in ES File explorer it wont let me modify the one in the phones root directory.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Lee O

You need to set the density to 240, clear market cache and data, then reboot the phone.

Thank you so much,

I had a feeling it was something simple like that.
