Guest Watashi_PT Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 Hello guys, Does anyone know how to connect to an eduroam network by wireless with the Blade? It's because my university has those networks and till now i can't find a way to connect...

Guest Watashi_PT Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 http://www.oucs.ox.a...duroam/android/ Found this on the oxford website... I've tried that and don't work... I know other devices who can connect to the network, but blade seems that don't want -.- P.S: Para os portugueses que virem isto, a minha uni é a do minho
Guest shkval Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 With my Blade I was able to connect at my university. Try with TTLS in type EAP, PAP as sub-type and your password and username
Guest klimu666 Posted January 4, 2012 Report Posted January 4, 2012 On my university beside the username and password i had to install user's cartificate to connect to eduroam network.

Guest Felsch Posted January 4, 2012 Report Posted January 4, 2012 Most likely your university has a guide of setting things up on mobile(meaning Android, Iphone, Windows Phone etc). that and the guides the other users linked are most likely to work also. Also I suggest you visit your university's helpdesk, might be faster than asking here ;). I gotten eduroam working since I gotten my blade :)
Guest meep.o.matic Posted January 4, 2012 Report Posted January 4, 2012 I've tried that and don't work... Guest Watashi_PT Posted January 10, 2012 Report Posted January 10, 2012 It still doesn't work. And today i'm sure it's a problem with the cellphone because a friend of mine could connect with an HTC Touch HD that only supports b/g mode. So the problem it isn't that!! I would like to know if someone else with FISH N CHIPS puts all the configuration but then the "autentification phase 2" doens't save. I put pap and save, but then when i'm going to see it it's "none". So i think the problem is with this rom...
Guest grayfoxpt Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 i believe it is a much deeper problem than the rom. my acer liquid mt also can't connect in UM campus in Guimarães never could with any rom, but my firends phone with android can using the same configs. but in the sports building near the students residency i am abel to connect. from what i researched it had to do with some verification that the router sends back to the phone and some of the misinterpret this. i am not an expert.
Guest Yami Prem Posted February 3, 2012 Report Posted February 3, 2012 We use Eduroam as well. I had to set up a proxy too, which was given in the instructions by my uni. The rom I am using doesn't have a proxy setting, so I had to download a separate proxy app for that bit. Don't you have a guide on your uni website?
