[MIUI (like)] [CM7 BASED] LewaOS Port for the Blade [ROM] [UPDATED - 06/01]

Hey guys. Here's yet another ROM from me to the community. It's called Lewa OS.

Now before I go any further I have to stress that this was not originally made by me - I just ported it to the Skate from the Blade.

I downloaded the Blade port from http://www.lewaos.co...s/download.php. It's a ROM based on CM7, made to look like MIUI. ;)

OK. Now that's out of the way. To the fun stuff!

It works suprisingly well for half an hour of work.

Working:

WiFi

Bluetooth

Sensors

Phone

2G/3G

Network

Camera

Proximity sensor :)

USB mounting

ADB

Video recording - 640x480!!

Not working:

Native WiFi Tethering (works with external apps though)

ive tried it on the blade was good .the only thing was privacy .have you looked into that .it can be found at the blade forum.anyway your quick thats another rom for users to test out.great work.

Nope - just checked - it's 640x480!! :)

Think of this like CM7 beautified and having a lot of bugs fixed :)

Well. It's very specific to what ROM you wat to port.

Basically for this ROM - I took CM7 for Skate and extracted it. And extracted the LewaOS zip. And I copied quite a few files from the CM7 to Lewa. Then I zipped it up using HTC kitchen

i can specify whihc files exactly if you like.

Seriously, porting must be damn easy lol or Lalit's really is a machine :lol:

Or both... lol. Porting in general is VERY difficult from the Blade to Skate and vice versa is a piece of cake ;). Thank god that ZTE didn't make the two any more different :)

I am aware of what is happening, but the thought of trying a new rom on my omc is soooo compelling. If someone want to spend hours looking at logs of me doing nothing, then fine lol, its a small price to pay and i have nothing of interest for them to use.

Pleas tilal give me the chance to use it.
